Between Breaths
For many years, Florian Ledoux has lived and filmed on the drifting sea ice of Svalbard. Over time, a young polar bear crosses his path. He names her Grinch. Orphaned too soon, she grows up alone in a fragile and changing world. From a distance, Florian follows her journey, witnessing her resilience, her vulnerability, her life on the edge of survival. Between them, there is no contact. Only silence, distance… and presence. Yet, a bond quietly forms. Until the day she disappears. Between Breaths revisits this pivotal encounter, a story of memory, loss, and the invisible, fragile thread that binds us to the wild.
